Rapid Mash™ is our signature feed, which is suitable for a range of horses from Leisure, to Spelling, to Sport. Rapid Mash™ is a High-Fibre, Low GI, and Grain-Free formula that is suitable for horses prone to Tying-Up, Laminitis, Colic, and Excitable Horses. Rapid Mash™ is high in quality proteins, fats, and 'Super Fibres' for Cool Energy. Rapid Mash™ is a highly palatable feed which can be fed Wet (for Hydration Recovery) or Dry (for Quick Feeding). 

Rapid Mash™ contains balanced Omega Fatty Acids with EPA & DHA, and Equine Country™ proprietary formula GASTRO SHIELD™, which has a proven track record of enhancing Gut Health, Hoof Growth, Calmness, Tractability, Skin Condition, and Coat Sheen. Along with Equine Country™ signature Vitamins & Trace minerals, Rapid Mash™ contains IFS Prebiotics & Probiotics for optimum Gut Health. 

Rapid Mash™ contains 'Super Fibres', which have a greater digestibility than Forages,  and contain very little starch. This decreases the risk of Laminitis and Colic. Microbes in your Horse's Hind Gut readily digest the 'Super Fibre' to produce Volatile Fatty Acids (VFAs). VFAs are the primary source of Cool Energy for your horse.

Feeding Recommendation

(The Recommended Feeding Rates for Rapid Mash™ are Based on a 500kg Horse):

Spelling Horses:  1-2kg/day

Light work:     2-3kg/day       

Medium work:    3-4kg/day  

Heavy work:    4-5kg/day    

*Feeding Tip! 

To avoid digestive upset, any change to your horse’s diet should be made slowly over a period of several days. The recommended method of introducing a new dietary component is to include a small amount in the first feeding and continue to increase the proportion of new feed to old feed for four or five days until the desired amount is being fed.
