This is a natural high quality zinc oxide sunblock powder. Zinc oxide is widely used to treat a variety of skin conditions. Zinc oxide protects against sunburn and other damage to the skin caused by ultraviolet light. It has a very broad spectrum UVA and UVB reflector and is completely photo-stable. It sits on the skin’s surface and is not absorbed into the skin, and blocks both UVA  and UVB  rays of ultraviolet light. Because zinc oxide is not absorbed into the skin, it is non-irritating, non-allergenic.

It comes with a sponge in an organza bag. A small amount covers a large area and is long lasting – 24 hours minimum (unless washed off). Apply on any pink photosensitive skin. If you have skin that is already damaged by the sun, our Sunblock Cream has healing ingredients as well and maybe preferable.
