EQUIVENT ND (1LT) is a complementary feed for horses. It is a unique combination of 5 essential oils which can assist in the maintenance of normal breathing and lung function, as well as Licorice Root Extract which has demulcent properties and will help maintain the normal condition of the mucus membranes of the respiratory tract.

Properties of 5 Essential Oils
Pinus sylvestris L. – Pine Oil
Rich in monoterpenes – a class of hydrocarbon molecules that have multifactorial benefits such as mucus expelling.
Pimpinella Anisum – Aniseed Oil
An essential oil well known for its mucus expelling effects.
Eucalyptus globulus – Eucalyptus Oil
The main components of Eucalyptus Oil are eucalyptol and alpha-terpineol, it acts as an oil that clears the airways and promotes clear breathing. It is an emollient for the respiratory system.
Rosmarinus officinalis – Rosemary Oil
Is an essential oil with strong antioxidant properties and assists in supporting healthy respiratory function.
Thymus vulgaris L
a powerful antioxidant which supports a healthy respiratory and immune system.
Properties of Licorice Root Extract (Glycyrrhizza glabra L.)
Glycyrrhizin stimulates tracheal mucous secretions, making it an effective demulcent.
Properties of Potassium Iodide
Potassium Iodide works by thinning mucus in the lungs so that they can be more easily expelled.

Feeding Instructions
EQUIVENT ND should be added to the normal feed ration.

All horses: Feed 60ml twice daily for 7 consecutive days.
Yearlings & ponies: Feed 30ml twice daily for 7 consecutive days.
